Served in the same battalion as his brother, albeit dying two years later and also served under Major H. BROWN (another Filey/Hunmanby casualty). The cemetery he is buried in is actually a German one, but also contains some allied prisoner of war graves, those were wounded when captured who then later died. Enlisted in Scarborough. |
