            All three of these men were casualties aboard the Joan Margaret along with Dick Haxby and George Willis.  Below are details surrounding the families of the men (where known).  See Dick Haxby for full details of the sinking of the Joan Margaret.

 

George Pearson: Husband of Fanny Pearson and brother of Thomas.

Thomas Pearson: Husband of Ethel Pearson, brother of George and son of George and Millah Pearson.

John Powley: Son of John and Frances Powley.  John served as a Deck Hand aboard the trawler Victory in WWI and lived at 23 Providence Place.
