Albert married Florence Skelton in 1916, after joining the army and leaving his civvie job as a painter and decorator.  He trained and was placed in the 1^st/8^th Royal Warwickshire Regt., where he remained until his death within a month of the Armistice.  He is buried in Tincourt New British Cemetery, France after dying of wounds received in the field.
