Frederick LORRIMAN (169559, Pensioner / Able Seaman)

b. 1886, Filey  d. Sat. 9th Nov. 1918 (aged 42)

 

          Having joined the Royal Navy before the start of the war, Fred was placed aboard the Prince Eugene and served there for the duration of the war.  He was married to Mary and they lived at 7, Sturla Rd., Chatham, although his parents still lived at 72, Cammish’s Yard off Queen Street and hence why he is remembered on the Filey Memorial.  He is commemorated on Gillingham Naval Memorial.
