Ball Point Pen Ink
~ To remove ball point pen ink (any color) from washable, cottonblended fabrics, place an old, thick, terry cloth bath towel underneath the material that has been stained. Saturate the ink stain with any brand of hairspray.
The ink will go through the fabric, into the towel underneath. If the stain doesn't disappear right away, repeat process. Throw garment and towel into the wash, on cold. Ink is gone.
** DO NOT USE THIS PROCEDURE ON SILK, SATIN, ETC., as the hairspray may permanently remove the color from the fabric. If unsure, do a test run on an inside seam.
