Now don't get me wrong~(I likes them classic DOOM games!)~but these graphics will spoil a person completely...
Duff beer is your health, sprinkle donuts are your armor bonuses...
Not to mention the hamburger, worth 100 health points.
This WAD will not run through the regular DOOM engine! Opening DOOM, and then browsing to the WAD file will only cause your DOOM to crash. The Simpsons WAD requires a newer version of the original DOOM engine, called ZDOOM, to work properly. ZDOOM is a streamline, modified, and just plain tweaked DOOM engine; Its graphics display is streamlined, its framing is much smoother, and many small parts of the graphics display have been modified and just look better. ZDOOM will run off of any DOOM WAD file, just place the file in the same folder as the ZDOOM.exe file and away you go!
And ZDoom will run through Vista without a glitch!!I have successfully run this WAD with ZDOOM and the following WADs:
DOOM
DOOM II
DOOM Plutonia
DOOM TNT
Tho, I don't have a 'Master-Level' WAD to use right now...
