This is a quick guide of how to go about de-winterizing you motorcycle.
Check over the motorcycle for any mechanical problems you may have missed in the fall.
Drain the gas tank of all the old gas and fill with new. The gas you just drained will normally work fine in your car.
Change the engine oil, and put good oil in.
Check the battery, clean the battery terminals. Put the battery back in the bike.
Remove rags and or plastic bags from your exhaust pipe and air box.
Find the "safe" place you put the title and insurance information in the fall.
Check the tires and add air. They will need it after sitting around for a few months.
Fire the bike up and listen for anything that sounds strange. Let the bike warm up and get rid of all the condensation that was traped in the engine and exhaust
