Grab both ankles and smile. It not going to be pleasant no matter what. Some insurance companies will give you a better deal if you have your house/apt and car with them. A very few of them like State Farm will decide your premium based on the displacement of the bike only. If your riding something 600cc or smaller, they might be worth looking into. Others its a combination of displacement as well as model of bike. Some bike (almost all sports bikes) are black listed, and will cost you more. Ask many questions and shop around!!! Its bad and its getting worse.
