Meet The Band Maria 'Maz' Moscati: Lead Vocals Maria, 16, has been singing for three and a half years, but only recently come out of the closet of her singing talent, and shocked everyone at school. She also makes up the majority of the lyrics for our songs, so thank God we don't have to rely on Ian's efforts. Her favourite bands are Maroon 5 and Avril Lavigne, and generally prefers pop music, although her ears are willing to listen to all sorts. Fiona on Maria: Maria is not only a great singer but she's such a lovely person too. But don't give her things with too many additives, she goes a bit mad and needs a good slap to get her back to the real world. Danny on Maria: wud b odd no? right lets be serious!! Maz is the best singer I've heard in my life!! She's really cool and she makes everyone feel great! And she's a great laugh! She's a really bouncy fun girl! Fiona 'Fewe' Park: Backing Vocals and Strings 16 year old Fiona has been playing the violin since the age of six, and never really sang properly until a school talent show last year. She can also half play the guitar and the piano, but violin is her favourite. Her music tastes are pretty varied, but she depsises rap and hip hop and any other crap like that. Give her some Chilis or Queen any day. Maria on Fiona: She's the nicest person you could meet, she's the person that keeps the band together and working. Without Fiona we would be doomed, we love her! Danny on Fiona: Fiona is ace! She'd dead good at violin, she knows how to make a bit of cash, £33 in one and a half hours! Crikey O'Riley!!! [Edit from Fiona: He's referring to busking, not anything else you sick people might be thinking about]. Without Fiona we'd be lacking lots of what we need! (not mental help!) Ian 'Pogo'/'Actimel Boy'/'Can Crusher'/'Piano Boy' Pogonowski: Piano Ian, 15, has been playing the piano since he was nine, and consequently can do magic things with it. He wants to go to music school next year, fingers crossed. He's into Maroon 5, Oasis, Keane, that kind of thing. Fiona on Ian: Ian is my brother in arms when it comes to talking music. He's the only person who understands it the same way. And he never shouts at me for containing his creativeness for the sake of communication. Although he does look stupid eating a banana. Maria on Ian: He's the coolest pianist ever! Without the feeling he puts in his piano, our music wouldn't be music. He's the heart of the band and he's there when we need a good laugh. Thanks Ian!. Danny on Ian: Woah what a dude!! He is the man when it comes to them little black and white keys! Ian brings a hell of a lot into our music, it'd be really plain without him! Daniel 'Danny' Tomkinson: Guitar Danny's played the guitar for an unknown length of time, and is able to play anthing we tell him to. He's also the king of the mini amp, and has the best guitar strap ever (fluffy and tiger print). He's an Oasis worshipper, and can't mention July without mentioning the fact he's going to see them then. [Edit from Danny- It's because Oasis are the best!!!!] [Another edit from Danny- Sorry about the evil pic! I'd only just woke up and fiona made me take one!] Fiona on Danny: Danny's head may be a foot above the rest of us, but he's still totally adorable, and never says no to anything. He also sleeps like a baby. We need a picture of that. Maria on Danny: He's a quiet member of the band, but he's really cool and fun to have around. He'a a really good guitarist and Fiona thinks he is really cute when he plays his guitar. Jonathon 'Jono' MacAllen: Drums Jono (16) rocks, literally. His drums add the finishing touches to our songs, and really make them mad. And he doesn't mind us messing about with his drum kit, which is always fun. He loves Avril Lavigne(her looks and her music), and has spent many a formtime singing Bohemian Rhapsody with Fiona. Fiona on Jono: Jono's always there to give you a hug when you need it, and is soooo lovable. He's a great drummer too, and keeps everyone together. Maria on Jono: He's a drummer with a lot of creativity. He expresses his feelings through his drums, although he doesn't say much he makes a good racket with his drums. But he's really cool and he is what makes our band cool!. Danny on Jono: Give him some sticks and he'll make your head spin! He's on a par with some of the best drummers I've ever seen, or going to see (that is if Zac Starky is playing in the Oasis gig!) there would be no rhythm without good old Jono!
