Metroid

Metroid! A series of games from way back when. Back in the time of the NES. Anyone out there remember those times? The times when Samus still didn't comprehend shooting in any directions aside from left, right, and up. But then some of you might not be really familiar with Metroid (poor buggers), and so I will give a brief summary.

In the year 2000 of the history of the cosmos life was good. Then bug people called space pirates started attacking spaceships so the galactic federation got space bounty hunters. At some point the pirates found a ship with a floating jelly fish in it and people believed that it caused the destruction of a planet. The jellyfish could reproduce really quickly and might cause the downfall of the universe. These jellyfish were named Metroids and were mass produced on the planet of Zebes by the Space Pirates. The Federation decided the best way to get rid of them would be to send one bounty hunter down after them. They sent a famous hunter named Samus Aran. He was a cyborg whose mechanical parts made him really sodding strong. (other stuff will be somewhat spoiler and I suggest playing the original Metroid now.)

(spoiler continues) Stuff happened and now everyone knows that *gasp* Samus was no male at all! She was a female all along and you didn't know even though you were playing as her!

But aside from all that story line I have come to the conclusion that Samus is the MAN no matter what gender she is. Anyone who can blow stuff up so awesomely and look so dark and cool at the same time is just... Cool. Seriously. She's even the master dancer (though few know of her abilities.).

Anyways, I'm going to turn in for the night (I'm starting to write backwards and spell things with unnecessary K's) I'll update later. Good night motherbrain! Good night Samus! Good night Bobo!

Ok! Back from a good night's sleep, I did not dream that I was in Samus' armor and I did not dream that I killed the motherbrain. All in all, it was uneventful sleep. But anyway, Samus came back in the two new nintendo games Metroid Fusion and Metroid Prime. I played both but I don't own Fusion so I apologize if you don't feel I do it justice. Metroid Fusion makes her seem a might more feminine which I feel is silly since you're barely supposed to know her gender. I think they made her suitless death slightly longer and I think they might have did something to her movements. All I know is that I felt somewhat distracted by the fact that she seemed less "the Man" and more "some chick with a gun." This is not unlike Dagger in FF9 where, even after she cuts her hair she still wiggles her butt in your face and you kinda think "ah, a buuutt" rather then "weird, short hair, dagger, etc." But then, I never liked Garnet/Dagger.

Ehg, how'd I get to talking about her? I want to talk about Samus and Metroids, NOT some "main female" from a FF game(Don't get me wrong, I love the series, just not the princesses in distress.)

Gack! Metroid-prime-fusion-movie-sequal-comercial-figure-character-Oh the pain! My organs! SAMUS ARAN!!!
