Rhinos
There was a herd of Waterbock (you can see the back-end of one in the background), a few ostriches, some Impala, and warthogs all hanging out in this field. We saw four rhinos in all yesterday, and supposedly there are only nine total in the park. |
Hippos
The mating ostriches were right across the lake. These two kept surfacing and making the most unbelievable noises then diving again. One of them yawned (BIIIIIG pink mouth) at one point, but my camera was off so I didn't catch it. |
Getting darker
Not sure how well you can see this, but the kudu had the most amazing horns. Supposedly it takes two and a half years for each curve to grow. |
