    Notes: Exactly 200 word story for Jinni's odd couple challenge.

 

 

 

 

   What did he have to lose?

 

    It wasn't like he was the Vice-President anymore.

 

    It wouldn't be possible to fall any further.

 

    Besides, it's not exactly like there were going to be reporters at a place

like this.

 

    The sign outside read "Viper Pit." It was a typical L.A. club.  He didn't

even know what he driven him to go inside.  But once he saw her, he was glad

that he had.

 

    She had long brown hair, and a beautiful smile.  Her tight clubbing outfit

hugged her body in all the right places.

 

    So, he approached her, talking to her, asking her questions about

herself.  She seemed to like the attention he was giving her.  She was over

18, which relieved him a great deal. It still might be a little risky,

but he

felt like indulging himself.  He deserved it after everything he had been

through in the past few months.

 

    Besides, he really liked her.  She was funny, intelligent and interesting.

 

   “So, Dawn.  Do you want to get out of here?  I’m at a hotel, just a few

blocks away.”

 

    She smiled up at him, "That sounds great.  She smiled that wonderful smile

of hers again. “Let’s go.”
