AHEAD - Eric Brackett of Ocean is no longer on the skins; Jason Stewart has joined the ranks as our new permanent drummer. - Within the month another 1000 copies of the self-titled full length will be printed up with new artwork and an extra track, to be released by Portland, Maine's Viking Ninja School Recordings. - Also to be released in the spring on VNS: 3-way split CD/DVD with Seekonk (Kimchee Records), Conifer and Moneycastasia, featuring a documentary on the production of the record. Bob on the textures. the oil tank date approaches... >> 09.14.05 - OIL TANK FARM REVERB "Meanwhile Seekonk is recording this month for a 3-band split (oh all this sharing is postively heartwarming!) on Viking Ninja School Recordsings. The other bands are Conifer and Moneycastasia. All three bands were asked to record a 15-minute song, two to be recorded inside of huge forts located on Casco Bay off the coast of Portland, Maine, with the third song captured being played inside of an empty no. 2 heating fuel tank in South Portland’s tank farm. Seekonk has reserved Battery Steele for their session. It’s a cavernous World War II island bunker system featuring a 1/8 th-mile long underground concrete service tunnel. To quote the band: “Reverb city, man!” A Christmas release is planned, with a DVD included with the audio showing the “making of” the recordings. I think... I was drunk... - we did the notcommon showcase at the middle east... it was cool as hell. we also recorded the show: sonic - we played an art opening at sanctuary tattoo. spreadable cheese, skin ink, PBR and kick-ass artwork! no going wrong there. - we are also getting t-shirts made this month... - and we are still in the studio... >> 10.01.03 - we are back in the studio... - the MONO show went well. those cats are super cool and super capable. Me Rikey! - mucho thanks to Nick for loaning us the JCM 2000. - the website is being revamped. new material is being written. >> 09.01.03 - no bullshit. we are presently recording with Marc Bartholomew of Tsunami Sound in our hometown of Portland Maine. - a new member has been added and more recent songs have been written. heavier. better. - we are currently in the midst of production on our first full-length record. - a gassed split with Kevorkian's Angels on NotCommon Records is in the works as well. we just finished a "killing spree" mini-tour of new england with KA... and from what we can remember... it was successful. |
