It's my game of the week page!! With Christmas comming soon and video games being
the big holiday item that they are I figured it was a FuNn idea to do a video
game pick of the week. Plus I couldn't think of anything better to put on the site
today... Anyway on with the this weeks pick... ToeJam & Earl!!! It's funky, It's fresh... and it's old as dirt. But even so it's still my pick of the week. It's about 2 funky aliens that really know how to jam!! Just look at the box ToeJam is saying "Jammin'!" right on it!!! He even left out the "G" in Jamming!! Plus Earl is eating a hotdog while he dances so you know he's cool as hell. Anyway back to the actual game. It's all about 2 aliens that crash land on Earth and have to search the planet for all the missing peices to their ship. As we search we encounter weird creatures with odd shapes and funnie smells called human beings. They carry lawnmowers, mail bags and even pom poms and all they seem to want to do is either kill us or love us to death. Fortuantly there are presents scattered all around containg very useful tools to use agains this hairy uncool enemy. We get rocket skates, rubber iner tubes, Tomatoes (For throwing not eating), Wings, Time freezing ablity and more... but beware some boxes are not to help us! Some are hurtful. They contain electricity and even instant death!! And we have to watch out for the edges because just like on the real Earth each stage is elevated above the one before it and if you fall off you have to take the magic elevator back to where you were. Good thing Earth is full of magic elevators!! If we don't stay careful we may end up dead... but as long as we can stay funky and saty FuNn we will survive with our ship and our cool! YAY! They also made a sequal but it sucked so I'm not gonna talk about it... But if you have a Genesis or a Genesis emulator get TJ&E!! It is one of the coolest games ever made and still holds up today. I know this pick isnt very funnie or intersting but someone (Sean) has been buggin me to put one up so here it is. Look for more soon! |
