As I see you.

Our friendship, born of touch and sound, with very little sight. Thus as you type and speak your words inside goes on a light. This my dear allows me to see although I am blind. I paint your touch and play your sound all in side my mind.

Your memories become part of mine, though for a short while. Therefore, I am allowed to remember, laugh, cry and even smile. I feel your joy when you soar and hurt when you feel blue. Mon coeur my dear please take a look at how I see you.

Stories By: Mise Hero Played By: Stephen D Allen
There was a damsel in distress. You see her horse was a brat. He was hungry as hell. He refused to move so Madam could get to her flat. “Oh pooh” she said and “giddiup” follows “Horsey move it or for you will be the gallows.”

He snorted and huffed and fussed you see. He pranced and danced but he looked so pretty. His intention the brute was to run in a loop. Oh madam became dizzy and fell in his poop.

“Oh how absurd” she said out loud. “A girl like me should always be proud. Yet here I am sitting so dour and covered in dung oh I must smell sour”

Then a dazzling light and a trumpet sounded. Madam looked up and appeared so astounded. A handsome gent fine as could be, galloped on a stallion so confidently.

“Its a carrot my dear that your horse desires. Let me give him my food sack before he expires.” And with a smile he dazzled her eyes. When she looked up oh what a surprise.

She was sitting again upon her steed. Yes it was food it was food oh what a need. Her dress so smart and pristine. Imagine just a smile and she was made all clean.

The handsome gent gave the lady a bow. An engagement he had so he had to leave now. A smile and a thank you was whispered his way. Wow charming gent you have saved madams day!

This is the image that came into my head when you told me about your way on your date when you had to give the lady a jump start who ended up giving you one in return. I didn’t think that day bad luck at all. Such a beautiful blessing.

A Thought By: Erica

This is one of the many yous that makes me proud to know you. I take the parts of your life you allow me to share and create images and sounds. So as you speak I paint a picture of your words and write a symphony of your mood. So at the end of the conversation I have a finished motion picture and soundtrack to play over and over again.

I know although I appear so distant I am but a softie at heart. Although very cynical I am very much a romantic, and I think this is why I fantasize life. Sometimes I must admit I can be morbid with my imagination but I always mean well. There is one movie of your life that I love to watch and listen to. It is a drama actually. And honestly I do see bits and pieces of this drama unfold as I hear you speak.

Well I am speaking of your time as a rape counselor. I think I have mentioned to you how I have always been afraid of rape and as a result you know have done stupid things. I am very freaked out by the prospect and would hate to imagine what it is like to actually go through such an event. I have started a piece called “Violation” one day when it is complete I will let you read. However, this isn’t about me its about you.

The movie is about a woman who has been raped and is thus emotionally and physically detached and who finds solace in talking to a kind hearted gentle man. Although he is a man, there is just something about him that doesn’t threaten her. He is an answer to her prayers because she needs someone to talk to. Her friends treat her differently for some reason. Her guy friends she hung out with treats her like its her fault. Everyone around her even mom doesn’t talk to her like she did. But the guy on the phone doesn’t see her as this statistic. He sees her as a person.

You know everytime I watch that movie from the clips I created of your life, my heart melts. You are an amazing man Stephen. I have been so blessed to know you and sometimes talking to you, I become humbled. You are a blessed man and I just want you to know that I am honored to know you. How I see you? Well all I can say is I aspire to use the emotions that GOD has given me to help others in my life. Thank you for being you. Thank you for giving me the permission to let my light shine.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves who am I to be brilliant gorgeous, talented and fabulous; actually who are you not to be. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. We were born to make manifest the glory of GOD that is within us, and as we let our own light shine we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.” Taken from Akeelah and the Bee.

As for Nadia…well she sees you in ways she hopes you have imagined. But you see I really want to give you this birthday present from a friend and Nadia has promised to tell you how she sees you personally. She can either whisper it or shout it your choice!
