Rules and Regulations





Welcome to the Rules section

Please read the rules listed below, all members or perspective members must read and sign a waiver to join. These rules as listed will be provided to a perspective member at a club meeting to be read and signed. No person or persons may join the club without fully reading, understanding and signing the waiver to that affect.

Rules and Regulations

 

Club members are obligated to abide by all of the following rules and regulations during any scheduled club event or independent activities that involve the club's name.

1.      I will be a good sportsman and conservationist. I recognize that people judge all club members by my actions. I will use my influence with other 4x4 owners to promote sportsmanlike conduct. I will also conduct myself in an appropriate manner both while attending events and in the public eye.

  1. I will not litter nor pollute lakes or streams. I will carry out all that I carry in.
  2. I will not intentionally damage living trees, shrubs or other natural features.
  3. I will not trespass on other people's property and will respect their rights.
  4. I will lend a helping hand when I see vehicles in distress.
  5. I will not interfere with or harass hikers, skiers, fishermen or other sportsmen. I will respect their rights.
  6. I will know (or endeavor to learn) and obey all Federal, Provincial (Highway Traffic Act) and local rules regulating the operation of my 4x4 vehicle.
  7. I will hold a valid driver's license and proof of insurance during all club events.
  8. There will be no substance abuse or consumption of alcohol during any club event other than at designated times. (i.e. Campsites, stops for lunch etc., this does not apply to illegal substances)
  9. I will not operate my 4x4 vehicle where such operation is prohibited.
  10. I will not harass animal life. I will avoid areas posted for the protection of wildlife.
  11. I will not wash my vehicle in or near lakes, streams, rivers, or ponds out of respect for the environment.
  12. I agree to abide by the principles of Tread Lightly! Canada
  13. I understand that neither The Belleville Mudd Boggers 4x4 Club nor any of its members can be held responsible for any damage that may occur to my vehicle while attending any club event.
  14. I understand that any violation of these rules will result in a violation notification being issued and consequences pending with possible termination from the club.
  15. Proper winch/tow points must be installed on the vehicle.
  16. If vehicle came originally from manufacturers equipped with seatbelts then they must be worn.
I agree to sign the Release and Waiver of Liability after having read these rules.
