This represents one of my only attempts to use poetic 'rules'.  Notice how all the stanzas have four lines?  And there's rhyming, too!

Anyway, I was trying to express the state of someone who watches as something damaging is happening to him (or her, I guess, but who am I kidding here, it's about ME!) and opts not to care.

Don't worry, I'm sure I have a peppy, positive poem somewhere in here...
