Extent of Powers: penance stare-by meeting the eyes of a criminal who has caused others pain and making a small effort of will, he is able to make them feel the pain of every injury and/or death they have caused.

It is presumed that once the person affected repents, they are released, but not proven mystic chain-can break thin barriers such as wood and thin metal. Can also bind physically and mystically those wrapped in it. Transformation of motorcycle requires his own transformation, but if left without being transformed, and needed later, can be summoned at which point it will be transformed.

Recognition of innocent blood is part and parcel of his nature. cleansing flame requires effort and can only remove existing bindings. Notes as to Rider’s mystic flame covering his body. It cannot be extinguished by water, and his only vulnerability is powerful magical bolts such as John Blaze’s ‘hellfire’ or by the draining of his magic, which is extremely painful.

Has to have his bike to escape hostile dimensions, and can only do so to the exact place he left. Otherwise is incapable of unaided dimensional travel.

History: Eric McElroy was an ordinary person through much of his life, at least until a New York mobster put a hit out on her, requiring her move to Arizona. Then, one day while Eric wasn’t home, a contract killer arrived at his hoime, and killed both his mother and his father.

When he arrived home, his grief and rage were powerful enough to draw the ¼ of the medallion of Power that the vengeance-weary Dan Ketch had just released from it’s link to him. The medallion attached itself and it’s power to Eric, and he transformed into the Ghost Rider for the first time. He was shocked at this, especially since he found his mind in control of a body he was unfamiliar with. However, during the subsequent three weeks, he discovered the Ghost Rider’s powers, and began to learn to control them.

Afterwards, he left his hometown, and began to wander, stopping only to protect or avenge innocent blood.

Other Stuff: a wanderer, a man without a home.
