So Mojo went out looking for a job. He went into the fire station and asked if he he could be a firefighter. Fireman Bruce explained that firefighters help people when there is an emergency.
“That would be a good job for me” said Mojo.“Australian shepherds are very helpful” Fireman Bruce explained when there is a fire, fire fighters drive a fire truck to the fire, and squirt hoses on the fire to put out it out. Mojo got very excited at this. “I would make an excellent firefighter. I have my own built in fire hose, and I love to go around squirting things. You could send me to put out all the little fires, and you wouldn’t even need the fire truck!” Fireman Bruce agreed that Mojo would be a good firefighter. He gave Mojo a little red box and explained, “This is a pager. If there is a fire, the pager will make a loud BEEP BEEP BEEP. It will be loud enough to wake you up even if you are sound asleep” Mojo looked surprised at this. “I don’t want to get up in the middle of the night. I like sleeping. People should be more careful, and only set their houses on fire when I am awake.” “I’m sorry” said Fireman Bruce, “but I an not sure if you will be a very good fire fighter”
