The X-Files Drinking Game

This originally came off some website, but as far as I know, the site is now defunct. If it's yours, you can claim it, 'cause I really don't know whose it is.


Apparently there was some type of warning here, saying you shouldn't use alcoholic beverages with this game... Um, kinda defeats the purpose then doesn't it? Well, wotever. I take no responsibility for you drunkenness. Have fun!


Teaser:

1) Every time a character dies under mysterious circumstances = 1 Drink

2) Every time it opens with Mulder or Scully (MorS) doing a long monologue = 2 Drinks

3) Every time it opens with a flashback to at least 5 years ago = 3 Drinks

4) Every time it opens with the end = 3 Drinks


Opening:

1) Whenever the theme music starts playing (just to make sure that you get at least one drink) = 1 Drink

2) Whenever the tag line is something other than "The Truth is Out There" = 3 Drinks


The Investigation:

1) Every time MorS gets a call on their cell phone that ISN'T their partner = 1 Drink

2) Every time Scully is examining the internal organs of a corpse = 1 Drink

3) Every time Mulder and Scully get in a fight with the local law enforcement = 1 Drink

4) Every time a $4,000 flashlight is used to light up a totally dark room = 1 Drink

5) Every time Mulder mentions that something could be paranormal, and another character thinks he's just joking = 1 Drink

6) Anytime Scully brings up a political/scientific fact = 1 Drink

7) Anytime Mulder just happens to know some obscure reference to an incident similar to the case they are investigating = 1 Drink

8) Every time the case has something to do with Mulder's sister = 2 Drinks

9) Every time Mulder leaves a witness alone, and something weird happens to him = 3 Drinks


Mulder:

1) Anytime Mulder decides it would be fun to go into a dark room by himself = 1

2) Anytime Mulder is referred to by his first name = 2 Drinks

3) Anytime Mulder is referred to as "Spooky" = 2 Drinks

4) Anytime Mulder eats sunflower seeds = 2 Drinks

5) Anytime Mulder fires his gun = 1 Drinks

Scully:

1) Anytime Scully decides that it would be fun to go into a dark room alone = 1 Drink

2) Whenever Scully fires her gun = 1 Drink

3) Whenever Scully kills someone = 3 Drinks

4) Whenever we see Scully in her mideical outfit = 1 Drink

5) Anytime Scully, or any other character mentions her abduction = 1 Drink

6) Anytime Scully is abducted = 3 Drinks

7) Anytime Scully shows up in a hospital and bosses everyone around = 2 Drinks


Mulder and Scully:

1) Anytime Mulder and Scully (M&S) get in a fight = 2 Drinks

2) Anytime M&S argue about how likely it is that something can happen = 1 Drink

3) Anytime MorS pull out there guns and say "Freeze, FBI!", or "Stop, Federal Agent!" = 3 Drinks


Contacts:

1) Every time Deep Throat, Mr. X, Marita, or any other contact is summoned = 1 Drink

2) Every time DT or X refers to Mulder as "Mr. Mulder" = 1 Drink

3) Every time MorS puts an X on Mulder's window = 2 Drinks

4) Every time X gets in a fight with someone = 2 Drinks

5) Anytime a contact refuses to tell someone something = 2 Drinks

6) Anytime Mulder receives a newspaper with an article circled or anonymous email = 2 Drinks

7) Anytime Mulder loses some piece of evidence = 2 Drinks

8) Anytime Mulder meets a contact in a garage/parking lot = 1 Drink

9) Anytime Mulder meets a contact on a bridge = 2 Drinks

10) Anytime Mulder meets a contact near a Memorial in Washington = 3 Drinks

11) Anytime Mulder meets a contact in his apartment = 3 Drinks

12) Anytime a contact is seen reporting to CSM = 3 Drinks


Cigarette-Smoking Man:

1) Every time CSM lights up = 1 Drink

2) Every time CSM is in a room with someone who doesn't know it = 2 Drinks

3) Every time someone threatens to kill CSM, but doesn't after he convinces him that if he does they'll never know the truth = 3 Drinks

4) Every time CSM is in a room, but doesn't speak = 2 Drinks

5) Every time CSM has the opportunity to kill someone, but doesn't = 2 Drinks


Skinner:

1) Every time Skinner yells at Mulder = 1 Drink

2) Every time Skinner says "ass" = 1 Drink

3) Every time Skinner is injured = 2 Drinks

4) Every time Skinner is accused of murder = 3 Drinks

5) Anytime Skinner appears without his shirt on = 3 Drinks

6) Anytime Skinner is forced to do something by CSM = 2 Drinks


The Lone Gunmen:

1) Every time one of the LG is seen at a computer = 1 Drink

2) Every time one of the LG (including The Thinker) hacks into government files = 1 Drink

3) Anytime Frohike talks about how Scully is hot = 3 Drinks


The Conclusion:

1) If the villain turns out to be a minor character who we saw earlier in the episode = 1 Drink

2) Anytime someone knows about some goverment conspiracy, or Mulder's sister, but dies before Mulder finds out = 2 Drinks

3) Anytime Mulder and Scully split up and Scully goes somewhere on a wild goose chase, so that she misses the whole thing and doesn't believe Mulder when he tells her what happened to him = 3 Drinks


Aliens:

1) Every time we see an alien body, but it is:
a) Dead = 1 Drink
b) Glimpsed only in shadow = 2 Drinks
c) Actually seen, but only briefly = 3 Drinks

2) Anytime a UFO appears in Scully's presence = 2 Drinks

3) Anytime an alien body is seen being zipped into a body bag by a government agent = 3 Drinks

4) Anytime we see someone, followed by a series of duplicates = 2 Drinks


Genetic Mutants/Special Abilities:

1) Anytime a genetic mutant needs something from someone else in order to survive = 1 Drink

2) Anytime a genetic mutant targets Scully = 1 Drink

3) Anytime someone got a special power from an operation = 1 Drink

4) Anytime someone gets a special power from studying = 2 Drinks

5) Anytime someone gets a special power from a medical condition/accident = 3 Drinks

6) Anytime a mutant is some sort of parasite = 2 Drinks


The Occult:

1) Anytime someone is found dead sacrificial style = 1 Drink

2) Anytime a pentagram is seen = 1 Drink

3) Anytime a huge amount of blood is seen = 2 Drinks

4) Anytime a group of people are seen doing some mysterious prayer/chant/ritual = 2 Drinks

5) Anytime a group of people take part in eating people/drinking blood = 3 Drinks

6) Anytime a character turns out to be some mythic being = 3 Drinks


Psychics:

1) Whenever a psychic provides a lead in the case, and MorS says it's only coincidental = 1 Drink

2) Anytime a psychic foresees MorS's death = 3 Drinks


Serial Killers:

1) Anytime a serial killer is suspected to have some paranormal ability, but turns out to have none = 1 Drink

2) Anytime a serial killer is doing this to fulfill some kind of "prophecy" = 2 Drinks

3) Anytime a serial killer targets Scully = 1 Drink

4) Anytime M&S gets help catching a serial killer by paranormal means = 1 Drink


Life After Death:

1) Anytime it's about ghosts = 1 Drink

2) Anytime it's about soul transfer = 2 Drinks

3) Anytime it's about reincarnation = 3 Drinks
