A Name
A name is but a name
And words are only words
A king is but a king
And lords are only lords
But acts are not just acts
And actions have their cults
Status is only that
Bearing with it, it’s own results
It is not heroic
To cower and to hide
While daring can only give you
A grave in which to abide
A social standing consists only
Of wealth and status and fame
But the peasants hear and remember solely
A name is but a name.
