Past all thoughts,
Of a return,
I can only run,
My mind I cannot discern.
What is real,
What is right,
Where to flee,
Where to fight.
I am lost to the world,
I do not know,
How to live,
Or where to go.
I am not free,
I have clouded mind,
I cannot see,
I am blind.
I cannot be,
I am not real,
My soul is dead,
I cannot feel.
For an escape,
Oh, what I’d give,
For a single life,
That I could live.
I want a life,
To keep as mine,
But truly,
A life I cannot find.
I want to run,
I want to scream,
To break these bonds,
This endless stream.
An escape,
I cannot see,
A way out,
To set me free.
None of this I can find,
No soul, no life, no reason to live,
So I am left with but one choice,
The ultimate price I have to give.
So here it goes,
The price to pay,
For a life not found,
My body I’ll slay.
The end, the dark,
It does embrace,
My mind, my soul,
My body, my face.
I am here,
In the dark of night,
Forevermore,
I’ve lost the fight.
So truly sad,
This has to be,
The only way,
To set me free.
