Wonders All Their Own

The universe
Is so diverse
In what it has to share,

From Saturn’s rings
To other things
For those who’ll take the dare.

To explore the unknown
to see what’s shown
From star and planet that are known.

To find life in outer space
To find another living race
It would be a miracle, true.

Yes, that would be
A most wonderful discovery
To know something no one knew.

And to see stars in all their glory
If only they could tell their story
And share it with all of us on planet Earth.

Then maybe we could find the key
To unlock this mystery
And celebrate in merry mirth.

But until then we’ll just have to wait and see
We’ll have to wait to see what will be
To see what becomes of our destiny.
