Well, today I got to do quite a bit, actually, even tho most of it was dealing with icky animals (by icky, I mean sick or other medical issues.)
The first thing I got to do was give two dogs their medicated baths. The baths were for their skin problems, but they were both very sweet dogs. Then I gave them their medication (also to help with their skin problems.)
After that, I got to give a couple kittens their anti-lice foam (I forget what it was called exactly, but it was a foam that you rubbed all over the animal and it supposedly kills lice and other parasites.) Since they were damp afterwards, I put in in a hot water bottle to help keep them warm.
The last thing I did today was to temp the cats in Iso(lation). Most of them behaved quite well. Once this was done, it was closing time, so you'll just have to wait until next week to read some more! ;)
