*********

Well, this week we didn't really do much new and exciting. We started out giving fluids to a cat. Then gave a dog his medicated bath. After that we temped cats, and gave one a bath because he was stinky. :) Last of all today, we learned how to draw blood from a cat (note: they used a different method here than I've previously been exposed to in a clinic setting. Here they took it from the front leg, like a dog, instead of the inside of a hind leg, such as I've seen in a clinic. I thot it was a little strange, but I suppose whatever works, right?) :) Anyway, G-- said maybe next week we'd get to draw the blood ourselves, which would be kewl. (Another note: the blood was being drawn for FeLV testing. FeLV is Feline Leukemia Virus.) That's pretty much it for this week!
