This week was really kinda kewl. It started off typically, doing temps, and a dog bath. Then we hydrated a couple of cats, and actually did an initial exam of a stray cat by ourselves, which was neat, and vaccinated (I gave the vaccine) and gave it strongid. So that was kewl. But the best thing, I'd have to say, is that I actually got to draw blood today (for FeLV tests)! It was fun. I felt sorry for the kitties, tho, because I haven't ever done a blood draw before, so I had to poke 'em a few times before I finally hit the vein. But I did it! So it was happy. Maybe next time I'll be a little more accurate! I hope so for the cat's sake. ;) Anywho, that was the last thing for today, so more next week! Later!
