Today I didn't do a lot. It was beautiful outside, so I tried to be out as much as possible. One of the first things I did was to act as a tech for some hock injections. They needed someone to open things for them (such as syringes and needles). Since this was a sterile procedure, they couldn't touch the containers, so I had to open things for them and give the things to them without contaminating the syringes or needles. I felt really inadequate because I wasn't sure what they were referring to when they were asking for certain guages, or where anything was. So they ended up just saying "okay, I need another blue one," or "we need two more pink ones." I was rather funny, if you think about it.

The other thing I did that had any significance was walk a horse that had a hole in his throat and one in his face to allow for sinus drainage. And believe you me, there was a *lot* of gross disgusting drainage! It was all yellow and gloopy. Like giant loogies coming out. And it got on my coat! EW! It was really, really icky! And that was pretty much anything interesting that happened today. More later!
