Date 060203: Docking Bay OSU VTH, 1100-1300 hrs

Today the first thing I did was watch a horse get his sinuses flushed. Then I went outside with the other volunteer and we watched a bit of a vet school class, and sort of watched lameness testing (the class was more interesting). We then (myself and the other volunteer) walked this big draft horse that had an abcess on his shoulder. It was kinda icky, and he was being a butt, dragging us all around and not wanting to go back inside. And when a draft horse is being an idiot, it is a scary thing. Anyway, all is well, and at least he wasn't mean.

We then walked the lipizzaner with the trach tube (one of the snotty horses). He behaved pretty well.

There wasn't a whole lot to do after that. So the other volunteer and I just sat around and chatted for the remainder of the time. Talked a bit with L-- about CVT school, which she was very enthusiastic about. Anyway, that all for today!
