Saw IV

So Jigsaw is dead and not coming back. Of course i haven't seen part five yet. But since his brian was removed I can't imagine how they'd bring him back. After a disappointing part three, four was a breat of fresh air. I doubt any sequel will be as good as the first, but thats how sequels normally go I guess. Some pretty inventive traps and a lot of scenes that are deffinatly not for the squemish. They competely slice Jigsaws bidy up in the first few minuets and that really set an uneasy vibe for the rest of the film. I really like how they transitioned the scenes together. If your a fan of the series up to this point I think you'll dig this one. 3/5

Characters

• Jigsaw: Well, what's left of him anyway. We actually learn alot about him via flashbacks.
• Rigg: SWAT team member who is getting kinda sick of seeing his co-workers disappearing. Poor guy should have seen his abduction coming. FOrced to run through hoops to save people. Fate unsure.
• Hoffman: Police captain.gets abducted early and hooked to an electric chair for most of the movie.
• Jill: Jigsaw's girlfriend. Yeah, Jigsaw was hittin' that. SHe get's a little freaked out by his new hobby and drops him.
• Agent Strahm: A bit of a prick. INvestigating hte newest rash of Jigsaw-like deaths. Fate unknown.
• Agent Perez: Strahm's partner. The 'good cop' of the two. Violates a main rule of forensics and gets a face full of clown doll. Still hanging in at the end tho.
• Eric: The dude from the end of part two. Actually has been alive for the past six months! Ends up standing over a block of ice with a noose around his neck. If only that wasn't the worst thing that could happen. Oh man, does he get it BAD!
• Art: Jigsaw's partner who started a local business with him. Ends up as a victim of Jigsaw's.
• Brenda: Some sort of criminal. Or crackwhore, theif or somehting like that. Gets scalped, but still lives long enough to fall through a mirror and die. AT least we know she wasn't wearing a weave.
• Ivan: Fat dude who wears a stained sleaveless white shirt. He also rapes and beats women. You know the type. He does loose some weight when all of his appendages are ripped off.
• Cecil: Crackhead who often visited Jigsaw and Jill clinic. Accidntly kills their unborn child. Ends up being the first victim. SHoves his face though knives to free himself only to fall into a bunch of razor wire. Douche.

Random thoughts or things I learned from this film

• If you're investigating crime scene's where people are brutally killed after playing tape recordings, and you find one... don't play it.
• If your co-workers start disappearing and/or getting murdered, leave it alone.
• In a fight to the death a mute man will defeat a blind man.
• Jigsaw got some bootie... some bootie... some bootie!
