Hard Work Today!
Did some backside trimming and toning too. No more flabby bottom (at least on the boat).
Took the opportunity to get a closer picture of the bresthook. I'm pretty proud of the fit
Found these 1/2" x 2" Mahogany 12 footers today. I'll use these for the outside rubrails/gunnels.
This ends today's work on the boat. Now I go home and hang new blinds in the Dining Room, and start on reflooring the Kitchen.

Blinds are up, floor is layed (still working on a bit of the trim) and finally got a new blade for my saw, as I buzzed the kerf off of one side of the old blade and the cuts were coming out curved and crooked. I will be resuming work tomorrow or the next day on this boat. I needed to do some work on Chugger for a friend in England, who wants plans soon. I will be switching on an off between the 2 boats, so check back frequently for updates.

Made use of the new blade, (didn't realize how dull the old one was) and cut the front panel for the front seat today. Used one of the other panels to start with and trimmed it down to fit. Didn't have the camera handy, so no pics. Hope to fillet the seat panels in this week, but no promises. Dealing with a HS graduation and reception, so little to no time for playing this week. I am trying to get this boat together enough to take to summer camp (US Army) in June. I also have a commission for a 16' john boat and Chugger to finish for different people. Plans will be available for the Johnboat soon, but not before the requesting individual gets them. 3.5" draft at 1000 lbs gross. Should be good for just about anywhere.
