October 31st, 2001 Hi There! It's Halloween. So all you ghost and goblins can come out and scare us...or something. This is a weird holiday. Kids dress up in scary costumes and goes around getting free candy from complete strangers. What if it was reversed...strangers dress up in scary costumes and go door to door giving away candy. Would you all be up for that? I think its a bit weird either way. I won't deny the fact that I once participated in this madness. Past costumes that I remember include a Pirate, PEE WEE HERMAN(I was in Kintergarden you pervs), Vampire, Dracula, Count Dracula, and I think one or two more variations of a Vampire. Maybe that explains why "Interview with a Vampire" is my favorite movie. Anyways, back to the whole holiday thing. My nine years in a Catholic School and 4 in a high school that reeked of ignorance I learned a little about the MEANING of this day. It all goes back to Christians dressing up like ghost to "scare away the evil" because the following day is All Saints Day...or something of that nature. Its been a long time since I read about it, or actually cared for that matter. Well, since my last commentary a lot of nothing has gone on. Last Wednessday, went with a friend to visit "The Ref Chick" Kerisa at her place of employment for some wings and cheese fries...yummy. Then went to Dream Girls and fell alseep. Friday, Criminal Rage and myself went out doing some business stuff. We acomplished a little, but theres a long way to go. We then hung out with "The Promotion" Chayne Wylde till about 8 in the morning. Rage walks into my house and died on the couch. I then went to my bed for a long morning of sleep. Blah Blah Blah...long day of Blah. That night I attended LWF's "Devils Night". I gotta say it...4 and half hours? That was like watching Bill and Teds back to back! Thats half a work day! I'm joking so don't crucify me. The last LWF show I went to before that was at The Oasis and Saturday's show was 10 times better than the last one. The thing that stuck out most in my head was how much better a certain former LWF World Champion has gotten. I was really impressed with him. Sunday...More Blah Blah..went to "DG" again. Its really starting to bore me. That was pretty much it. Yes, that was a LAME commentary...but what can you expect from a LAME weekend. I blame Kurt Loder. Die Loder! Die!
