His mother found out she was pregnant with him when she was in labor. He was taken from them immediately and bounced around from foster home to foster home until he was 8 and his aunt and uncle turned up and took him in. They weren't much better, being alcoholics themselves. Damien's elemental powers manifested when he was getting his hand held over a gas burner for some imagined misbehavior and he caused a fire where only he survived. He lived on the streets for a time and made a fair living as a tattoo artist until he was discovered by Mystique. Disgusted with how his own human family had treated him, he is a rabid follower of the Brotherhood's ideals. Personality: Borderline Manic/Depressive. When he's on an upswing he's a blast to be with, when he's down things get scary, and he has previously tried suicide during the worst of these. He also is a little obsessive. It's unknown whether his personality is like this from birth or upbringing. Hobbies: Growing weed, experiments extensively with any mind altering substances.
