History: Remy was born with his red eyes and was known to people as L'Diable Blanc, born with an angel's smile and a devil's eyes. He was stolen from his family by the thieves' guild and brought up by the leader of the clan LeBeau, Jean-Luc LeBeau. He was trained by different gangs and thieves to become a master thief. Gambit's eye for ladies started early, when he saved a sweet little girl from a trap made by the assassin's guild. But the girl wasn't as innocent as he thought. She was Belladonna Bordeaux, daughter of Marius Bordeaux, the leader of the assassin's guild. Jean-Luc arranged their wedding to bring peace among the guilds, but Bella's brother, Julian didn't like the marriage and challenged Gambit on a duel. And Julian lost. Even though Remy had killed him in self-defense, the assassins demanded revenge on him. Remy choose exile before death. Gambit wandered around the world, until he met up with the X-Men. He is a secret and a mystery to the X-Men. All they know about him is that he is a scandalous heartbreaking thief. What they don't know is that he has a life debt to a mysterious man called New Son. Now he is forced to steal things for this New Son, for the rest of his life. Other rumors tell that he has been a key person in a Morlock massacre, but no one knows for sure. Gambit is tired of living in a lie, but he knows, that if the truth came out in the open, no one would ever trust him again. Ever. Personality: Gambit lives for the day, never actually tied to anyone but himself. He is a thief, a gambler and a ladies man, and he's always around somewhere. Preferably where he shouldn't be. He's a bit of a rascal, a swashbuckling swamp rat from Louisiana with, deep, deep inside, a heart of gold. But everyday, he has to fight between his dept to New Son and his affection to his friends. He waits with horror for they day when he might be forced to steal things from the X-Men. Hobbies: Gambit likes to gamble, both in games and in life. He has an addiction to life and lives like everyday was his last. Therefore, he has no other hobbies than seducing women and stealing things. Likes + Dislikes: He likes ladies, of course (duh) and he likes his thievery, the thrill, even though it's practically forced on him. What he dislikes is to talk about his past. That's nobody's business, and he could get into serious trouble if anybody knew his whole story.
