What's NAQ? What, don't tell me you don't know that? ^^;; Anyway, for those of you who don't know, it stands for Never Asked Questions, from the term Frequently Asked Questions. I decided to use NAQ because as of now no one has ever asked me the questions you find in most FAQs, heck, I don't get any questions at all! I'm only doing this because I love adding new stuff to my site, whether or not people read them. ^^
CONCERNING THE SITE
Why'd you choose "Saya" as a handle?
Actually, I don't, at least not any more, if I ever did. Anyway, "Saya" is a Malay word meaning "I" or "me" in English. Hey, I liked it. It was... *tries to think of a suitable word* ...cute. ^^;;
Why do you call your site "saya238"?
Because I want to. Go see History! *shoos you away*
Why don't you buy a domain?
I'd love to! But I'm not even updating my sites regularly now so I'm not sure if it'll be worth it. I do get quite busy. ^^;; But yes, I'd love to get a domain someday. *dreams about getting a domain*
Why don't you try to get hosted then?
For a site like "saya238" I'd rather have it on my own domain. For my cliques, though, it might not be a bad idea.
Why do your site layouts suck?
Because they do. Heheh. Well, because I'm not good with computer graphics so I don't make them and put them into site layouts. Also, I like the simple look. Some solids, some colours, that's all. I'm also too stubborn to tell myself that my layouts may be outdated and people like a more modern look. ^^;;
CONCERNING THE FEATURES
*after looking at Downloads* Is that all?
I'm afraid so. I'd love to add more, but when there's nothing to add, then that's all you get. If I could just get myself to work on that Otaku Mascot... *plots*
What type of drawings do you do?
I draw objects, and people in anime/manga-style (but not really... I'm not sure what you'd call it), and when I'm doodling I tend to draw lines and shapes. I don't really draw cartoons or comics except with the manga/anime flair (e.g. ^^;;, ^.~ etc.). I don't draw scenery or people in portrait-style.
Do you draw fanart?
Sometimes... I have my old BAM fanart up but I do sometimes draw others... I have drawn fanart for Harry Potter, Final Fantasy, Pokemon... or at least drawn art inspired by some series... but I won't show 'em to you unless I think they're good enough. ^^;; Anyway, they are small drawings, not like those big ones that people do... and they are difficult to scan.
What type of writing do you do?
Fanfics, but many aren't revealed to you. ^^;; I'm too (I hate to use this word when describing myself but I guess it's true *grumbles*) shy to write essays with strong opinions or convincing points, because I'm always sure that they won't turn out to be good points or interesting opinions after all. I constantly have stories in my head though they are mostly to sort out things that I go through myself, and those that are potential stories don't hold my confidence long enough for me to start writing them. I almost never finish any stories that I start (except when they are assignments for English ^^;;).
What writing styles do you use?
Meh... well, for BAM fanfics I used to write in a humourous way and I think it still is one of my more effective and interesting styles. For my first HP fics I used a more wordy style, not much humour, though I think I wrote that way because I felt so strongly about the particular scenes in HP canon (I wrote about Tom Riddle meeting Harry in the CoS, and about Sirius when he tracked down Peter Pettigrew, go and read those fics in the links I just gave you =P). To give you a general view, I suppose that I love writing humour because, well, I just love humour =) and it's a great way to catch readers' attentions ;) - and yet when I feel very strongly or emotional about something, I will write exactly the way I feel it, and unless the topic is humourous it won't contain much humour at all.
Will be adding more! ^_^
