OLDER ENTRIES (2002)
17th September
Well I'm off to London on Saturday............leaving home at last is both exciting and scary - i'm really lookng forward to being independent, to living in the city, to all the opportunities that are going to be open to me - but there's obviously a part of me that is a little apprehensive about leaving Emsworth after all this time. I'll keep you posted how things go...... Already i've got tickets for a School Disco (ironic, i know, having just escaped the place after 14 years of state education) and a James Bond themed night 'Mission Improbable'. Somewhere in between all the social stuff I've got lectures and numerous formalities to go through, registering for this and that and a bit more besides. So I think I'm going to be pretty busy! Other stuff that's happened recently - failing my driving test, woo hoo! I'll retake it in the Christmas holidays though......The South of France was great fun, and the long coach journey wasn't TOO painful........the area was lovely, and even the school dinner style food was tolerable. I'd better get used to it anyhow - i'm in a catered hall for the next year. Well, keep in touch! And good luck to everyone whose in the same boat as me...........

A great deal's happened since my last entry, the most significant thing undoubtedly being the A Level results on the 15th. I got 3A's and a B (in English Lit, Religious Studies, Sociology and Philosophy) which was enough to secure my first choice place at University College London (UCL). Term starts on September 23rd, and I'll be traipsing up there during the previous weekend. I've just got back from the Soul Survivor Festival (10 000 young Christians in a field + a lot of noise = not much in the way of sleep) which was great fun, and before I've even had a chance to get in 40 winks I'm heading off to the South of France on Monday with another 13 people. This should be really enjoyable, but I'm perhaps understandably apprehensive about the 20 hour journey.... Updates to the site recently include more photos (more to follow after our French escapade no doubt) and a Cool Links page where you can find some interesting ways to pass the time.... I've also added three new games- enjoy!

Ok, I was wrong about Spencer winning Big Brother, but I'm sure no-one will question my judgement if I pledge my allegiance to Johnny at this late stage.........
I'm back from holiday now (boo hoo) and currently sitting back and waiting for the Day of Reckoning on August 15th. I've uploaded a whole selection of photos from Gran Canaria and a brief account of the whole shebang at my DEPARTURE LOUNGE page. The photos currently on-line belong to Emma, and I'll add mine as soon as i get them back. Also to follow shortly are pictures from Spitbank Fort - where we met Jeremy Beadle, woo hoo!

Well the A Levels are well and truly here, only three weeks to go before i never have to set foot in school again...... this is to a certain extent a great thing, but also kind of sad - i'll miss the place after seven eventful years. I've taken loads of photos which should be online sometime in the near future, along with pictures of the Spitbank Fort Leaving Party (which is on the 28th) and, of course, my imminent holiday - i jet off to Gran Canaria on the 1st of July.
Good luck to all of you who are in the same boat as me with the dreaded exams casting a shadow over the next half term......
What else is going on at the moment in my life? Well, this week has been pretty much taken up with the Golden Jubilee, the World Cup and - yes, I'm sadly addicted - Big Brother. My advice? Place your bets on Spencer now.......
Revision beckons, but I promise I'll add loads of new photos soon for your pleasurable viewing..........
