MARCH 7th '03
Just a quick one to tell you how things are going. Am swiftly moving towards the end of the second term, will be back home for a couple of weeks from 28th March. My end of year exams are in the middle of May, basically you have to pass all of the papers or you'll have to retake individual modules or, if you really muck it up, the whole year. Which is obviously far from desirable.
Tomorrow night am off to London Arena at Docklands to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The tickets were booked months ago, and its obviously a sell out as they don't perform over here that often. Should be great, although the fact that I'm only five foot tall might seriously reduce my chances of actually catching a glimpse of Anthony Kiedis et al at a standing only gig......ah well, never mind, the atmosphere should be great nonetheless!
The band.....

Other stuff that I've been up to recently.....going to the recording of CD:UK and seeing the dire pubescent 'Blazing Squad' mime badly as well as standing inches from Westlife and Appleton (the blonde ones from All Saints), writing abusive letters to the Daily Mail moaning at their elitist middle class ideals (I am a published writer woo hoo, and aren't students supposed to rebel against the system?), getting my belly button (or navel as certain friends would tell me is the correct terminology) pierced and red and blue extensions put in my hair, dissecting TS Eliot, proving that the flute is a perfectly viable instrument in a jazz band, eating, drinking, sleeping.......
Charlotte and I getting glammed up for a night of Decadence..............
