Double D and Faith attend CZW's Uncivilied! On the 8th of February, Faith and I decided to take a 5hr drive to Philly to see CZW (Combat Zone Wrestling). Faith came up with the idea when she saw my idol Trent Acid was to be there with his tag partner Johnny Kashmere. We left and got there just in time.. There were many great matches that night, but I am goin to only pin-point certain matches, but to check up on all of them, check out CZWWrestling.com. The CZW Heavyweight and Ironman Champ The Messiah came to the ring with his crew the Backseat Boyz(Trent and Johnny). Trent mentioned to the ring announcer about the new name the alliance would go by. Trent said HI V, and the announcer thought he said HIV, and Trent and Messiah became upset, but the announcer wanted to know who the 5th person would be. At the show in January, "Sick" Nick Mondo issued a challenge to Messiah and tonight Messiah began to romp on him. Mondo came to the enterance and not being to intelligent ran in the ring to attack Messiah.. Not being to smart, Mondo was met by the HI V and got what was coming. The song Voodoo blared on the speakers as the H8 Club ran out, and then Ric Blade also came out. When they all ran out, B-Boy came out to assist HI V. They all beat the crap out of Ric Blade, until H8 Club and Mondo got to their feet, they cleared the ring. At this time the 5th member of HI V was B-Boy. The CZW Tag Team Championship belts were on the line. The match was Backseat Boyz vs H8 Club. Being Trent Acid is one of my favorite wrestlers, this match was my favorite. Trent and Johnny came out, and the girls went wild but the males werent as enthused with them. BSB did some impressive teamwork on playing head games with the H8 Club. The match went back and forth until Nate Hatred was thrown out of the ring, and Trent and Johnny hit Gage with the T-Gimmick for the 1-2-3. BACKSEAT BOYZ are the NEW CZW TAG TEAM CHAMPS... The Legendary Tatanka was in the house at CZW.. Him and Heartbreaker took on Greg Matthews and Rockin Rebel.. Tatanka got a HUGE reaction from the fans, and it was great to see such a good wrestler in the ring, and have the opportunity to see him perform. Tatanka and Heartbreaker did not win, but put on one hell of a show.
Another great match of the night was the Junior Heavyweight Champ Ruckus against Sonjay Dutt. Chris Cash came out and complained that a good looking guy like him should of been booked, and he was going to be the ref. This match started as a great techniqual match with both using some great submission moves. Everytime one of them would go for a cover Cash would count to 2 and then complain of his arm hurting. While Ruckus and Sonjay were on the top rope, Cash went and got a ladder from under the ring, and knocked both of them through the annoucners table. Cash then stood on top of the ladder and held the title up as fans didnt appreciate that to much.
In the final match of the night, Messiah took on "Sick" Nick Mondo. This match was hardcore. Fans LOVED it.. Chanting CZW, CZW, CZW.... It was great. People went through tables, body slamed on thumb tacks, and Messiah even used a staple gun on Mondo. Mondo then hit a big leg drop and got the 3 count for the win. The HI V then ran to the ring and attacked Mondo. From nowhere, H8 Club and Wifebeater came out and cleared the ring. The Messiah said a belt was on the line but it wasnt said which one, he then threw the belt at Nick Mondo and said you deserve it, and walked off.... "Sick" Nick Mondo said he would bring the pride back to the Ironman Strap.
The show ended and everyone was cheering...... This was my first ever CZW show and I have to say it was definitly worth the drive. Every match on the card was great.. I dont want anyone to think that I didnt write about all the matches because I didnt like them, I LOVED everyone of them... I met some great people there (check out the photos page.) Trent Acid was great, I was able to talk to him after the show and he is a freakin HILAROUS guy. I was just glad to go and meet some people there and see what CZW was all about. I'll definately be attending another show in the near future.
