Who is the man, the myth, the legend that is Hollywood Hulk Hogan? Hollywood's real name is Terry Bollea and besides being the greatest wrestler of all time, he's also an actor and one hell of a fine American, brother. His acting credits include a role in Rocky III, Thunder in Paradise, No Holds Barred and many others. He also appears in commercials.
Hollywood grew up in Tampa and left college to pursue wrestling as a career. Once he achieved some success in wrestling, he began working as "The Incredible" Hulk Hogan, a heel character. In time, it became evident that Hollywood's true calling was as a good-guy character and Hulkamania was born. Hollywood defeated the likes of the Iron Sheik, Andre the Giant,Macho Man Randy Savage(on several occasions), Sargeant Slaughter and Triple H. In all, he has captued six WWF titles and has even had a stint as the tag team champion.
Hollywood Hogan parted ways with the WWF and signed with Billionaire Ted Turner in 1994. He entered the WCW as a good-guy, but eventually made history at the 1996 Bash at the Beach when he turned heel and founded the New World Order with his friends Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. The nWo, with Hollywood Hogan as its leader, dominated the wrestling industry for the next few years, with Hogan capturing the title on several occasions.
