This is my crazy doggy Dixie whom I am completely in love with. We adopted her in 2000 from a Lab rescue agency. She was severely abused by her previous owner - he kept her outside and had a thick chain welded around her neck (because she would try to run away to the neighbors' house every chance she got due to the fact that the guy starved her as punishment), and basically as soon as she was old enough to be in heat she was raped by several dogs (she couldn't get away bc of her chain). The neighbors turned the guy in and when the rescuers brought Dixie in she only weighed aproximately 46 lbs (meaning she was completely skin and bone), and they were going to get her spade when they discovered that she was pregnant. She ended up having 7 puppies and the 3 that lived all had different fathers (showing just how many dogs raped her). So I pamper this dog every single chance I get because she deserves to be treated like a princess after what that bastard put her through. She is my baby girl and is my total pride and joy :)
