yoooo what up? My name is Lauren, although i have also been known to go by the "cheesy" dj alias of ~*Trancegirl*~ and have lived a large percentage of my life in the sheltered biosphere of Deluxbury, Massachusetts...where for the past two years I have resided only on rare occasion.
During the other 9 months of the year,I reside for part of the week at Hamilton College in the town of Clinton, NY...a suburb of the Greater Utica Area where I learn shit on occasion and provide electronic music to the Upstate NY area...the rest of the week i chill with my boy and work at Newbury Comics in Harvard Square.

***Electronic music of the Mindfuck Trance, Trance house and Psytrance/ Goa genres*** :) ...my love for this music also extends to include breaks, house, goa, tech-house, garage, trancecore, jungle, old skool hardcore, NuNRG, and occasional cheesy proggy trance tracks
***Spinning Records***Yes I do spin vinyl, cds, and 8-tracks (just kidding)!...2 years spinning and still counting....catch me spinning every Tuesday night from 10 to 12 pm... WHCL 88.7 FM
***Going to RISE on Fridays*** RISE is my fav afterhours club in Boston (it also happens to be the only one)...every Friday during the summer of 2000 (when i wasnt too too tired) I would go out and dance 5 hours straight all night! It was through going to Rise to see Steve Porter and MJ spin that I began to appreciate deep trance.
***Going to RESURRECTION on Sunday nights*** Resurrection at the Phoenix Landing was my old home on Sunday nights. When I went there i was able to get my weekly dose of bangin Psyyytrance and Hard House. It was here that I met many of my Boston friends. I have many fond memories of being trashed at Resurrection. and also of spinning here.
***Boston, Massachusetts*** I am moving here FOR REAL in 5 weeks!!!!!!! 'nuff said.
***Big Tall Skyscrapers***Besides being tall and intimidating, these buildings which tend to occupy urban areas are an example of the beauty of modern architecture :)
***Nag Champa***I love Nag Champa. What is nag champa you ask? No word can describe the scent. It is happy,even when i am not! Go get some for yourself at the Trident Bookseller Cafe on Newbury St (that is my favorite bookstore). If you don't know where that is, you shouldn't be reading my page right now!
***Clouds*** No idea. but when I get one, I will let you know.
