Hello, my name is Greaty, I am a Great White Shark. Media sensation & widespread ignorance has given all us sharks a bad reputation. So, I will tell you the true story - Jaws. One day I was just swimming through the bay close to the shore. I wasn't looking for trouble, I was looking for my favorite food. Seals & dolphins. So sue me. It's not my fault I eat cute animals like dolphins & seals, that's just the way we sharks are. Us Greats White Sharks can sometimes not be all that smart. I admit, sometimes we mistake you Humans for seals & dolphins. Trust me, you dont taste very good. I only attacked one person. All those people in Hollywood needed to "spice - up" the movie & call me the "big bad shark". They made the shark proof cages small in the movie just to make me look big! Can you beleve that, they needed to ruin my rep just to make a lame, non - realistic movie! And if for any reason I would consider this case of "mistaken identity" a case of revenge. As a matter of fact us sharks have more to fear from you Humans than you will ever need to fear from us. Fishermen kill over 1,000000 of us a year world wide. And us, we kill less than 10 of you. So imagine, if someone made a movie about you.... A bad one.... It ruins your reputation.... Now that would be pretty embarrassing wouldn't it. So there you have it, the bare truth. That is the true story of the movie that ruined my rep. And for some sharks, their life. So, next time you enter the water, remember who's home it is.
