Great White Sharks

Carcharodon carcharias

The Great White Shark is the largest preditorial shark. Not to mention the KING OF THE SEA! It is one of the only sharks who preys on large mairine animals. Such as seals, dolphins, whales, porpoises, sea turtles & large fish like tuna, & other smaller sharks. The great white shark can grow over 20 feet long. This awesome shark has no predators. (Humans pose a big threat to it.) Numbers have declined due to overfishing. It is now protected in certain parts of the world such as California, South America, Australia, & Maldives. It is considered dangerous. Most attacks on humans are truely an accident or a case of mistaken identidy. Someday I would like to swim with one uncaged, would you?
