Beef With Broccoli
Ingredients:
1/2 lb. Top sirloin
1 lb. Broccoli
1 piece Ginger, crushed
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 cup water
3 Tbsp. Salad oil
Seasoning:
2 Tbsp. Soy sauce
1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
1 Tbsp. liquor
1/4 Tbsp. Sugar
1 Tsp. Salt
Dash of Pepper
Slice beef very thin and soak in seasoning for
10 minutes or longer.
Cut broccoli into 2 inch lengths and parboil.
Heat pan with oil and brown ginger and garlic
slightly; add beef and fry until medium rare.
Add broccoli and water and bring to a boil;
Do not over cook.
Yield: 4 servings
