MUM'S BRISKET



Ingredients:

7 - 10 pound beef brisket untrimmed
~~(then Mom said to trim much of the fat off as you can)
1 pkg of Knorr's onion soup
~or just plain onion soup
2 cans of mushroom soup

Method:
Do this at night~ 1 hour before you go to bed.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Make sure ALL the fat is trimmed off the brisket.
Place brisket in pan.

Spread 2 cans of mushroom soup on top (do not dilute).
Sprinkle the Knorr's dry onion soup mix on top of that.
Cover really tight (she said the moisture would all come
out if it is not covered tight).

Bake for the first hour in the preheated oven at
350 degrees and then turn oven temperature down to 250 for
approximately 8 hours (or overnight).

Take the brisket out in the morning when you get up -
and it's ready to eat.

Slice your brisket across the grain of the meat for a tender
slice of meat. Serve it on the side.
