GWYNN'S CHEESE BALL


Ingredients:
1-8oz pkg. of cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
2 cups (8oz) shredded Swiss Cheese
2 cups (8oz) shredded Sharp cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons grated onion
3 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
6 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled finely
1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
1/4 cup finely chopped almonds toasted

Method:
Combine cream cheese and sour cream in large mixing bowl;
beat at medium speed with elec. mixer till smooth. Add shredded
cheeses, onion, pickle relish, horseradish and seasonings. Beat
on low speed until well blended. Cover and chill thoroughly.

Combine bacon bits, minced parsley and almonds; mix thoroughly.
Shape chilled cheese mix into a ball, roll in bacon mix and press
mix into surface of cheese ball with hands. Wrap ball tightly in
plastic wrap and chill until ready to serve.
Yield 1-6 inch ball.
