CHUNKY SPAGHETTI SAUCE


Serves: 4
Ingredients:

1 lb. bulk Italian sausage

1 to 2 medium green peppers, julienned
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced

2 can (14-1/2 oz., each) Italian stewed tomatoes
1/4 c. tomato paste
1-1/2 tsp. minced fresh oregano OR 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1-1/2 tsp. minced fresh basil OR 1/2 tsp. dried basil
Hot cooked pasta

Method:
Brown sausage in a large saucepan; drain. Add next 3 ingredients;
Cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients; simmer, uncovered, for 10-15 minutes.
Serve over pasta.
