DIRT CAKE
Ingredients:
1 large package Oreos
1/2 stick margarine
2 - 8 oz. Cream cheese
3/4 cup sugar
2 small package vanilla pudding (not instant)
2 3/4 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. Cool Whip
Optional:
8 inch Flower pot (or any container)/trowel
METHOD
Part 1 - Crush the Oreos
Part 2 - Cream margarine, cream cheese and sugar
Part 3 - Make vanilla pudding with only 2 3/4 cup milk and
vanilla - cool
COMBINE Parts 2 and 3 and fold in the Cool Whip
Using an 8 inch flower pot, plug the bottom with the plastic lid from the "Cool Whip".
Layer ingredients in the pot - cookie crumbs, creme, cookie crumbs, creme and so on.
Top with an artifical flower.
Serve with a trowel!
Note: I have seen this served in smaller flower pots with a daisy (really cute)
for parties of 12 or so or used as a center piece.
