HAWAIIAN CHICKEN
Ingredients:
2 lbs. broiler-fryer pieces (breast pieces best; skin
chicken pieces, if preferred)
Salt and pepper
2 T honey
1(8 1/4 oz) can sliced pineapple
1/3 c. bar-b-que sauce
Place chicken in baking dish 12 x 7 1/2 x 2 inches.
Season with salt and pepper.
Bake in 400 degrees oven for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile; drain pineapple, reserve 2 tablespoons liquid.
Combine reserved liquid, bar-b-que sauce and honey.
Pour over chicken.
Bake an additional 25 minutes, basting occasionally.
Arrange pineapple over chicken.
Bake 10 minutes.
Drain excess fat from sauce.
Spoon sauce over chicken.
