HUNTER JOHN BOY'S VENISON MEATBALLS

Ingredients:

2 and 1/2 pounds of ground venison
1/2 pound ground beef (high fat content - 75/25)
3 eggs
6 tablespoons water
1 and 1/2 cups bread crumbs (I prefer the seasoned bread crumbs)
2 small onions chopped fine
2 healthy sprinklings of Weber Gourmet Burger Seasoning
1 and 1/2 cans jellied cranberry sauce (16 ounce cans)
2 and 1/4 cups chili sauce (Be sure NOT to use HOT chili sauce)
3 tablespoon brown sugar
4 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice

Method:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a large bowl, thoroughly mix
together the ground venison and ground beef, egg, water, bread crumbs,
minced onion, and Weber Gourmet Burger Seasoning.

Roll into small meatballs.

Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, turning once.

In a slow cooker or large saucepan over low heat, blend the cranberry sauce,
chili sauce, brown sugar, and lemon juice.

Add meatballs and simmer for 1 hour before serving.
