Component Symbols

The following are some of the main component symbols that you will need to know in order to understand the circuit diagrams on this site. When looking at a circuit diagram,note where the wires are connected on the components and how the components are all connected together. By understanding what each component is and after some practice you should be able to make out the circuits on a breadboard, PCB or strip board.
